Film Review - Just Go With It

I've wanted to watch this film since I saw the trailer and finally got round to it a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was going to be your typical chick flick but I don't think it is. It is so funny, I think even the manliest of men would enjoy it.

Danny, a plastic surgeon, convinces his assistant Katherine to pretend to be his soon-to-be-ex-wife after he finds himself tangled in a lie he told his new girlfriend. The three of them, along with Katherine's two children and Danny's cousin, end up going on a trip to Hawaii together.

It's obvious from the trailer how it is going to end but it doesn't stop you enjoying the journey to get there. I found it hilarious with so many laugh-out-loud moments, my favourite of which is a scene with a sheep. Most films these days get a single viewing from me before they're forgotten about but I think this one will stick around. One day in the future it might even become a favourite.

Verdict: Just Watch It

***Film Fact***
Danny's fiancée at the beginning of the film is Adam Sandler's wiife in real life, Jackie Sandler.
