This week we had the first elimination on Strictly and it was time for Edwina Currie to say goodbye.
I enjoyed Holly's salsa this week. It made me want to watch Havana Nights but my favourite - again - was Russell Grant. I don't think he is ever going to be the greatest dancer in the technical sense but he is very entertaining. There is always a 'comedy' contestant these days but with Russell I'm laughing with him rather than at him. I think he's brilliant.
There were elimations on X Factor as well this week and, due to the twist, four acts went home; Jonjo, 2 Shoes, James Michael and Amelia Lily.
I'm glad Sami is in the competition (*shakes fist at Louis*) and has stayed but what was going on with her look this week? They'd aged her with her hair, make-up and awful outfit and she looked like a caberet singer in that sparkly jacket. If you squinted, she looked like Jane McDonald back in her cruising days.
She looked much better with her own style.
This week it was Faye vs Maisy, with Maisy going home. I wasn't swayed either way with these two so didn't mind who went.
Harry went up slightly in my estimation this week when he went bananas (ha ha) but crashed back down again when he couldn't take a joke when it was aimed at him.
I'm glad I wasn't in the camera run behind the mirror when Jay was shaving his bum. I think I'd be scarred for life!
Corrie's made it back on the list this week. I found Eileen getting her head stuck hilarious and - dare I say it - even Rosie made me laugh.
Great British Bake Off
I wanted Mary Ann to win but, on the day, Jo was definitely the worthy winner.
