My Five Favourite Time-Travel Rom Coms In Film

Time-Travel Romantic Comedy Films: About Time | Groundhog Day | 13 Going On 30 | When We First Met | Eve's Christmas

I love a rom com. I love time-travel fiction. So if you put them together, you've got the perfect story for me.

My new time-travel romantic comedy, The Christmas Cupid is out now, and I thought I'd share five of my favourite time-travel rom com films that helped inspire the book:

13 Going On 30 DVD

13-year-old Jenna Rink wants to be thirty, flirty and thriving and when she makes a birthday wish, she becomes exactly that, waking to find herself as an adult living in the city with her dream career.

When We First Met | Netflix

Noah is in love with his friend, Avery. But she's marrying someone else. Which makes Noah very sad (and causes him to get very drunk) until he discovers a magical photo booth that sends him back to the night he and Avery met, giving him another chance with the woman he loves.

About Time DVD

Tim can travel back in time to revisit moments of his past. So when he meets Mary, he uses his power to make sure they have the perfect life together. But time-travel has consequences and there are tough decisions ahead.

Eve's Christmas DVD

Eve thinks she has the life she's always wanted, but when she finds herself alone at Christmas, she makes a wish that sends her back in time, where she'll have the chance to make different choices.

Groundhog Day DVD

Weatherman Phil Connors is sent to Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to cover the town's annual Groundhog Day. But Phil finds he's trapped in Punxsutawney when he repeats Groundhog Hog, waking up on the same day again and again.

So those are my favourite time-hopping romantic comedies. What's your favourite?
